“Barong on the Water” was perfect for our wedding weekend. The grooms party stayed the Friday night and couldn’t be more relaxed in the setting. Photos on the lawns and around the farm the next morning we brilliant. The many beds were great for guests and the well stocked fridge and pantry we well used. The bacon and eggs were ideal on Sunday morning. The BBQ we had on the Sunday was the best. The perfect setting on the water as well as great weather meant that many quests said they would be booking their own stay at Barong. Wonderful property with beautiful views. Able to fit 3 family’s (2 adults and 2 children each) comfortably and lots of room for the children to run around. Outdoor entertaining area large with a wine fridge which was super handy. Boats are able to be kept in the water at the end of the garden which my husband loved. A group of friends found the ideal location for a break from Melbourne ! A fabulous house in a brilliant location right on Lake Nagambie . Very well equipped with a fully stocked pantry & fridge . The outdoor area overlooking the Lake , with BBQ & fridge was where most of our time was spent – Firstly for breakfast & then later for late afternoon drinks & then dinner . Nagambie is a lovely small town that met all our needs & we had a night out at the Nagambie Rowing Club right on the banks of the Lake . Next door is the recently opened Nagambie Brewery & Distillery . Nearby are many wineries & interesting & historic small towns to visit . I am sure we will be back Peter – Peter M. ☆☆☆☆☆
