Explore

Take a walk or ride a bike from the boardwalk around the edge of Lake Nagambie, it’s a meandering 2km into town past the Black Caviar statue. The path leads you right to the Nagambie Brewery where you can enjoy a meal on the deck, looking out over the lake.

Enjoy local wineries

Enjoy a winery tour and lunch at Tahbilk, Mitchelton or Fowles wineries. Each winery has its own unique style.

Canoe on the lake

Make sure you put a boat or canoe on the lake and tour the Goulburn River and scenic lagoons. You can use your own or hire locally. Spend a day drifting down the river from Seymour in a tinnie or canoe.

Lunch at the White Hart hotel

Have lunch at the White Hart hotel in Longwood. Come home with a scenic drive via: Nolans Rd, then left onto Ponkeen Rd and finally over the hill on the Wickett Hill Rd.

Fishing on the lake

Try fishing for Murray Cod or Redfin at the bottom of the garden. Guests have the use of the private landing next to the boardwalk.For many anglers Nagambie is relatively uncharted territory but is known among the locals as a hotspot for it’s impressive natural waterways and opulent fish population. The tournament zone covers all the key bite-zones and provides some cracking opportunities to land big fish.
